What's unique about Umrah from United States
- Texas (Houston, Dallas) and the Bay Area have the highest concentration of Pakistani-American Umrah travellers — Hamid Ali (our Texas Regional Rep) is based there and handles local coordination.
- Pakistani-Americans often combine Umrah with extended family visits to Pakistan — we book multi-city US ↔ Saudi ↔ Pakistan ↔ US tickets.
- US-side travel insurance is highly recommended (medical evacuation cover) — we provide carrier referrals.
- Saudi Tourist e-Visa for US passport holders is instant via visa.visitsaudi.com (USD 137 including insurance).
- Most Pakistani-American families prefer mid-tier 4-star packages (Standard) for comfort + value balance.
Frequently asked questions
Where is Al Bari's Texas representative based?
Hamid Ali, our USA Regional Representative, serves the Pakistani-American community from Austin, Texas. Reach him on +1 (443) 589-4441 or via the standard Al Bari channels.
Can you book Umrah for US citizens (not Pakistani-Americans)?
Yes. We serve any US resident, regardless of passport. We book Umrah for American Muslims of all backgrounds, including converts.
Do I need a Pakistani polio booster if I'm a US resident?
Only if you've recently been to Pakistan (within 12 months of Saudi entry). US-resident travellers who haven't been to Pakistan don't need the polio booster. Meningococcal ACWY is required for all Umrah pilgrims regardless of origin.
How are payments handled from the US?
Wire transfer, ACH, Zelle (Hamid's USA account), or Pakistani bank transfer via Wise / Remitly. USD-denominated invoice, no FX surprises.
Can I combine Umrah with a trip to Pakistan from the US?
Yes — this is one of our most common Pakistani-American bookings. We arrange multi-city: USA ↔ Saudi (Umrah) ↔ Pakistan (family visit) ↔ USA on a single coordinated ticket, often saving USD 200–400 vs separate bookings.
