Last updated: 26 June 2026

The UK has the largest Pakistani diaspora in Europe — over 1.6 million people, concentrated in Bradford, Birmingham, London, Manchester, and Luton. What's unique about Umrah from United Kingdom

  • UK Pakistani families often travel as multi-generational groups (grandparents + parents + children) — quote multi-room hotel suites accordingly.
  • Many UK pilgrims prefer to depart from Birmingham or Manchester (not just London) — Al Bari coordinates regional departures.
  • British Pakistani returning pilgrims often combine Umrah with a 7–10 day Pakistan visit — we book onward Saudi ↔ Pakistan ↔ UK multi-city tickets.
  • Polio vaccination booster is mandatory for UK travellers visiting Pakistan (NHS clinics provide; carry yellow card to Saudi too).
  • Saudi Tourist e-Visa is straightforward for UK passport holders (instant approval, multi-entry, 1 year validity).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Pakistani passport to book through Al Bari from the UK?

No. We serve any UK resident, regardless of passport. We routinely book Umrah for British nationals, dual UK-Pakistani citizens, and Pakistani citizens on UK visas.

Are flight prices in GBP fixed?

Quoted in GBP at time of booking. Final ticket issuance uses the airline's GBP rate. Hotel and Saudi-side costs are quoted in GBP using the day's SAR/GBP rate.

Can you arrange airport pickup from a UK airport?

We don't handle UK-side ground transport, but we coordinate Saudi-side airport pickup at Jeddah / Madinah as standard for all package bookings.

How do payments work from the UK?

UK bank transfer to our Pakistan bank account (sterling-denominated invoice). Wise / Remitly transfers also accepted. No credit card processing fee — final price is the price quoted.

Is Saudi Tourist e-Visa or Umrah e-Visa better for UK residents?

Saudi Tourist e-Visa is generally faster and more flexible for UK passport holders (instant approval, 1-year multi-entry, 90-day stay). Umrah-specific e-Visa via Nusuk Masar is also an option (single entry, 30-day stay). We advise on the best route based on your travel plans.
